Day 164--A Little Progress Goes a Long Way

Lots of Gaps

My new kitchen is huge!  It is hard to really get an idea from the picture, but it is so big. Dave installed the rest of the perimeter cabinets tonight and moved the refrigerator into place. The open spaces are for the dishwasher under the window and the stove and hood along the back wall. We need to wait until the floors are redone to be able to put the island in and then countertops.

Dave also installed the cabinets in the laundry room. The obvious gaps here are the missing washer and dryer. The dryer is in the living room and the washer is not delivered yet. Let obvious--there is no plumbing yet--it is roughed into the sink cabinet and stops there.

While he worked on cabinets, I worked on grout in the bathroom. I got one wall and the niche and area near the niche done. I have quite a bit to go--and we need some plumbing in here too.

As the laundry room comes together, we are thinking about hardware. Remember these:

I think the aqua ones will be perfect in the bathroom, I just need one more.
