Day 125--A Trip to San Domiano's

Drywall Continues

Tonight I had a late meeting, but Dave put up a 2nd layer of drywall in the master bathroom.  On the walls were we left part of the plaster, we need to put 2 layers of 3/8 inch drywall to make them match depth. It does not change how it looks, but it is still progress.

After dinner, we took a family walk to see San Damiano's for the first time.  The city of Monona just bought the land and already has picnic tables, trash cans, and adirondack chairs to watch the sunset on the park property.  The trees and brush on the park block our view of the lake, but we are hopeful they will trim some of the overgrowth. Here is a photo from their website.

Here is our house from the park

The park has the old Frank Allis house.

And a beautiful view of the lake.
