Day 92-Lights Out

Electrifying

This morning Dave put in the higher cross-bracing in the breezeway to raise the ceiling. It makes the room feel so much bigger.

Dave worked on continuing to complete the wiring while I pulled out the old bathroom fan and outlets and switches in the hall.

Later Dave and I went up to the attic to pull the lines out. Dave discovered another wiring mess over the master bedroom and leading to the old bathroom fan.

It would be helpful to know what the numbers mean. Eventually, we got all those runs out as well as the ones over the old kitchen light. We also got the bathroom fan out.

We also discovered that it was not vented outside--it just went into the ceiling. Check out how dirty the insulation is.

While the power was off, Dave took the old eagle porch light (see it above) down and put in one to match those on the garage.

He also swapped out the old porcelain, mercury switches and updated the entryway light switches.
