Day 64-A Light Day

Egg Hunt Fun

This morning Dave worked on framing in the linen closet door to take a 30 inch door.  The old pantry had a 24 inch door, but we have extra 30 inch doors from other rooms left, so we figured why not make it bigger.

Then we took a little break to hide 85 plastic eggs for Lauryn and Teagan to find. Hiding them in a construction zone added to the fun since there were many creative spaces, such as in the walls and behind new wires.

In the afternoon, Dave raked the fern bed in the fenced area and took out all the ferns.

Soon we are going to pave part of this  back area for a patio and then plant more grass, maybe even some landscaping.

Then we enjoyed some dinner in the screen porch. What a beautiful evening!
